The healthcare complex has three buildings: a building for patient care, a building for hospital staff accommodation and a third for the parking area.
To achieve a cooler and more energy-sustainable interior, we created a very compact design, with courtyards that allow light to pass through and facilitate ventilation. The buildings are "enveloped" by the same outer skin, which helps control the sunlight and protects against the high temperatures typical of Saudi Arabia.
